We are pleased to offer The Greenbrier cabin as a new listing in 2024! The cabin is open to responsible couples and small families seeking a comfortable Smoky Mountains getaway in an authentic log cabin full of rustic charm and modern conveniences.
★ LOCATION ★
The Greenbrier is located in Mountain Shadows Resort, an all log home community just a half-mile off the East Parkway (aka the quieter side of Gatlinburg). The East Parkway is a main route for getting you to downtown, the park, Pigeon Forge, etc. quickly. All roads to the cabin are paved. Roads are hilly in the community but not too steep and easily accessible for all vehicles. The cabin is on a dead-end street with very little traffic.
★ INDOOR LIVING ★
The Greenbrier is a true log cabin constructed of big, bold round logs, which gives it an authentic warm cabin feel upon entering. The cabin has two levels, both highlighted by quality mountain rustic and modern appointments, along with complimenting decor.
You’ll enter the cabin on the open and bright main living level. Your eyes will likely be drawn first to the windows along the far wall for the view reaching into GSMNP and the big, beautiful log and stone fireplace in the corner of the sitting area. This level offers plenty of leg room for two to four guests and contains comfortable furnishings, a well stocked kitchen, an area for dining and a guest bathroom.
The lower level features a very spacious carpeted bedroom and wonderfully large bathroom. The bedroom is highlighted by rustic solid wood furniture plus ample storage for settling in. The bathroom is perfect for an in-cabin spa day and is highlighted by a large jetted tub and a unique walk-in glass block shower with three soothing shower heads. A washer and dryer is found in the bathroom as well.
★ SLEEPING ★
The lower level bedroom is furnished with a solid wood king bed with a memory foam mattress. A queen-sized sleeper sofa is found in the living room.
★ KITCHEN ★
Quality full-sized stainless steel appliances and tile countertops highlight the well-stocked, modern kitchen. All pots, pans, glasses, plates, silverware, etc. are there for you along with plenty of kitchen gadgets and small appliances perfect for making breakfast, lunch or dinner during your stay. For dining in, a dining table with seating for four shares space in the open main floor living area.
★ OUTDOOR LIVING ★
Most of your outdoor time will be spent on one of two decks. The upper deck is mostly covered and is set up for outdoor cooking and dining with a gas grill and outdoor dining set, plus warm party lights for added ambiance. The lower deck is the more private of the two decks and features a hot tub and lazy porch swing. Either deck is a great space to begin your day with a cup of coffee while enjoying amazing views of the Great Smoky Mountains.
★ STOCKED ITEMS ★
Our cabin is fully stocked so you only need to bring food and a few toiletries. Here is a list of the many items we provide: bath/kitchen towels, bed linens, cookware, dishes, flatware, cooking utensils, dish soap, hand soap, foil, cooking spray, S&P, coffee, Keurig K-cups, coffee filters, paper towels, napkins, toilet paper, Kleenex, trash bags, laundry and dishwasher detergent, dryer sheets, hair dryers, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and more!
★ PARKING ★
Free paved parking in front of the cabin for up to two vehicles is provided.
★ PETS ★
We are happy to accommodate guests with smaller dogs. We allow one dog up to 30 lbs. for an additional fee. We are unable to make exceptions to the number of and maximum weight limit.
★ SWIMMING POOLS ★
Two swimming pools are available in Mountain Shadows Resort for guest use from May 1st to October 1st.

We are seasoned, hands-on vacation rental owners and present The Greenbrier in a condition and manner we would like to find as if we were renting the cabin. ► A two-night minimum stay is required.
► In order to rent, all guests must be 25 years of age or have a parent or guardian staying in the property.
► Daily housekeeping service during your stay is not provided.
► Guests are not permitted to invite visitors. Only paying guests are allowed on the property.
► Smoking is NOT allowed inside or outside of the cabin. This includes cigarettes, cigars, e-cigarettes, vape pens and marijuana.
► Absolutely no discharging of firearms is allowed on cabin property. This includes BB/pellet, Airsoft and paintball guns. The setting off of fireworks is also prohibited.
► Candles are not permitted to be burned on cabin property.
► No drones.
► Occasionally appliances, electronics, etc. can malfunction. We will service and restore these amenities as quickly as we can, but will not make any rental concession for time without these items. Likewise, loss of electricity, water, or other "Acts of God" that are outside of our control will not result in a refund of any monies paid. We ask that you follow all guidelines and policies regarding use of amenities in order to keep them functioning at peak efficiency.

Payment Policy
50% of the reservation total is due at the time of booking with the balance due 15 days before arrival. In lieu of a damage deposit, HoufyProtect is required damage insurance costing only $5/night.
Damage Deposit Policy
As a security deposit alternative, Houfy Protect, an upfront nonrefundable low cost property damage protection policy for just $5 per night, is taken at time of booking.
Cancellation Policy
Travelers who cancel at least 7 days before check-in will get back 100% of the amount they've paid. If they cancel between 3 and 7 days before check-in, they'll get back 50%. Otherwise, they won't get a refund.
